Everyone loved the cookies (in our office as well as those of the clients we sent them to). The Wink logo cookies were delicious, looked great and were an excellent, original way to say thank you to our clients. I will definitely be ordering them again.

I just wanted to thank you for coming up with the biscotti tree idea. My customers have called me and said how much they enjoyed received my gifts. Some have said that it was so nice because they where having a bad day but when they received the biscotti tree they stopped and made some coffee and sat down and relaxed and enjoy. We made their day better and it is all because of 1-800-Bakery. Thank you!

The Boston Tree Case: Logo Biscotti
Take for example Boston Tree Preservation, a business specializing in the organic care and pruning of trees. With a client retention goal in mind, they needed a memorable way to thank their customers for their business, so that when the next tree problem arose years later, Boston Tree Preservation would get a call.
The company wanted to reinforce their message by giving a gift in the shape of their logo: a tree. After a consultation with us, they decided on a tree-logo shaped biscotti wrapped in cellophane and gold foil that would be sent along with a thank-you note.
Making the tree biscotti required a new approach to the baking process. Cutting the shapes with a cookie cutter was simple enough, but because the biscotti were thicker than usual, they had to be partially baked in sheet pans, then cut into trees before the second baking to achieve the right amount of crunchiness.
We reduced production costs by arranging to distribute the trees only when 50 orders had been received. Using e-mail notification, Boston Tree Preservation sends in requests, and once 50 have arrived, a new batch of biscotti is baked, bagged, and shipped.
We managed shipping costs by designing the packaged trees to fit in Priority Mail Small Video Boxes, which ship at a flat rate, allowing Boston Tree Preservation to budget shipping costs ahead of time.
The unique thank you gifts generated results. Following each shipment, Boston Tree Preservation receives calls from happy customers thanking them for that special business gift.
